About Ganado ISD.....Fast Facts

Ganado Independent School District is located in the northern part of Jackson County 37 miles northeast of Victoria and approximately 90 miles southwest of Houston.

District Schools (Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12) are fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency.  Between 1996 - 2003, Ganado ISD has received approximately $755,976.00 in technology grants and approximately $3,222,591 in total grants.  In 2007, Ganado ISD received a three-year Elementary Counselor Grant for approximately $915,000 ($305,00 per year) and a three-year Drug Testing Grant for approximately $240,000 ($80,000 per year) for a total of $1.155 million over the three years.
